No Conflict Diamonds :: About

For the time being, I prefer to remain anonymous, mysterious and unashamed of my birthstone, the diamond.
This resource will have all sorts of information about diamonds, from neutral information about diamond quality to my heavily-left-leaning ramblings on “blood diamonds”.

What are blood diamonds, or “conflict diamonds“, as they are often called? One of my first posts is about that, so I’ll just briefly say, it’s any diamond a person had to suffer to get into my hands or yours.

I badly want a diamond ring, but not at the cost of someone’s arm being chopped off or slave labor. So I’m going to collect all the information I can about diamonds, conflict-free diamonds (and whether or not we can verify that there is such a thing, as well as possible alternatives to diamonds, such as those that are man-made.

Feel free to leave your comments. And if, for some reason, you’d like me to link back to you, the best way is a trackback link. For resources that I judge to be non-spam-like, I’ll put you up on my blogroll as well.

Currently I’m not taking any money for doing this, I just like to share. For the moment I’ll stay supported by advertising and the occasional small kick-back I might get from referring you to another resource.

My priority here is quality information though, so please don’t write asking me to write fluff about your site.

I don’t care if you pay me $100 a click, I’m blessed to be a relatively well-off online business owner, and as such I can’t be bought.

I will only give my honest opinion, but I will write about your diamond or jewelry resource if you ask me nicely in the comments area. :)

Thanks for coming by!
